a stone wall & a tree_ Syros

The concept for this house was to design a new building around an old stone wall and a tree ‘found’ on the original plot.

With magnificent, unobstructed views to Finikas bay, the house sits calmly on the land echoing chromatically the serene Cycladic landscape.

The inspiration for this hotel refurbishment was drawn from Cycladic architecture, while each room was approached as a unique design challenge.

Each individual room becomes a small ‘cosmos’ where traditional built furniture, wall recesses and ivory screed finishes juxtapose with the serenity of the frosted glass surfaces.

a new me_ Athens

A reconstruction and modernization of a conservation building (dating back to 1910) on Evripidou St. in Athens city centre.

The design strategy was defined by the need to preserve the original architectural features of the facade of the building, the size, the typical decoration of the openings (entrance, windows, and balconies) and the colours wherever applied.
